STEM Summer Camps
Summer STEM Camps at Science Explorers combine fun and education for the ultimate hands-on summer camp experience. We offer various camps for age groups 4 to 6 and 7 to 11, diving into science in many forms — from forensics to marine biology. We aim to help more kids get excited about science and learning, even out of school.
Our Science-Based Summer Camps
Science Explorers’ week-long STEM camps come in half-day and full-day options, depending on the age group. Each camp offers unique activities and learning experiences within a different science topic. Check them out below!
Camp CSI
Welcome to Science Explorers CSI, where your child can join a team of forensic investigators to crack a case. Together, we’ll document evidence, analyze mystery powders, lift fingerprints, use a black light to uncover hidden clues and so much more! This camp is a full-day, week-long adventure for ages 7 to 11.
Science Adventures!
Our Science Adventures camp transforms our after-school club topics into unforgettable experiences. This camp for ages 7 to 11 includes a little bit of everything, tied into one week, such as building a weather station, creating slime, making homemade ice cream and experimenting with chemistry mixtures. Come ready for fun and discovery each day!
Wizarding Wonders of Science
(formerly Potions, Powders & Polymers)The Wizarding Wonders of Science camp explores the difference between science and magic for ages 7 to 11. In our half-day camp option, your child can craft erupting foam monsters, dig for hidden treasure and build spectroscopes. If they stay for the full day, they will experience even more captivating adventures, investigating creepy creatures, capturing a rainbow in a bottle and learning clever troll tricks.
Take a Dive
We designed our Take a Dive camp for future marine biologists and oceanographers aged 7 to 11! In the half-day camp, your child will get to dissect a real shark, learn to survive at sea and participate in a fisherman’s challenge. Our full-day camp option includes completing a squid dissection, investigating Triassic Triops and discovering many other weird wonders of the sea.
Jr. Discoverers
Through our Jr. Discoverers camp, children ages 4 to 6 experience a week of hands-on fun. We will use exciting activities to explore various fields of science, including dissecting a plant to learn about botany, crafting a constellation viewer to discover the world of astronomy, investigating a real octopus to understand oceanography and creating insect habitats to become familiar with entomology. Let’s discover our exciting natural world together!
